Dumpster Drop

Your block is getting a shared dumpster. One week, one drop — everyone fills their chunk and the whole thing disappears when the week's up. The host gets one chunk free. Everyone else splits the rest. The couch doesn't have to live in the garage forever.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
01
We text you when we hit 12 chunks. You'll get a message confirming your chunk count and a Venmo link. You've got 48 hours to lock in your spot — after that it goes to the next neighbor on the list.
02
Dumpster confirmed, address shared. Once everyone's paid, we book the dumpster and text you when it arrives with the drop address and instructions.
03
Drop week. Bring your stuff over any time — 8am to 8pm works best for the neighbors. Snap a photo when you're done and text it to us — that's how we know everyone's in before we call for pickup.
04
Done. The dumpster gets hauled when the week's up. The garage is yours again.
✦ What's it cost?

Chunks are $75 each. Your card isn't charged until the drop is confirmed. The host always gets one chunk free.

LEAVE THESE OUT

These items cannot go in the dumpster — either by law, for safety, or because they'll trigger overage fees from the hauler. If you're not sure, text us before drop week.

🎨
Paint + Chemicals
Paint, solvents, motor oil, pesticides, cleaning chemicals. Dried/empty cans are fine.
🔋
Batteries
Car batteries, lithium batteries, any rechargeable battery packs.
❄️
Fridges + Freezers
Anything with refrigerant — fridges, chest freezers, window AC units, dehumidifiers.
🔥
Propane + Tanks
Propane tanks, fuel canisters, fire extinguishers.
🏗️
Concrete + Dirt
Concrete, brick, dirt, gravel, and rock. Heavy materials can push the dumpster over its weight limit fast.
🖥️
Electronics
TVs, monitors, computers. Many jurisdictions require separate e-waste disposal.
🚗
Tires
No tires of any kind. Auto shops handle these — most will take them for a small fee.
☣️
Medical Waste
Needles, sharps, medications, biohazard materials of any kind.

Weight limit applies. The dumpster has a 2-ton cap. If you're throwing away something unusually heavy, flag it when you sign up. Overage fees are real.
